Electric Kettle Housing – Rapid Prototyping Case Study
A client from Germany came to us with a design concept of the Electric Kettle Housing. At the product development stage, they want to check the product appearance and shape in advance. So we suggest using vacuum casting to get some parts for the test. This process fits the request. Domi Team made the master pattern by SLS, and did some sanding and polishing, make the required texture on the part by painting. We use the master pattern to make a silicone mold. When the mold is finished. We use PP like material to get the parts. Only a few days all the parts are made. The customer is very satisfied with us for the good quality part within a short lead time.
Headlights Cover – Plastic injection Molding Case Study
The customer is a US company representitve based in China. They found us by Google searching engine. We received the enquiry and quoted to them on the same day. They needed a quick turnaround of sample parts for testing the market. We provided them with DFM analysis for the mold tooling and injection molding. When they approved all our tooling designs, we made the tool by CNC machining for 15 days. Then we have the mold trail for days and get the injection molded parts in another few days. The whole process uses 20 days, then the customer gets the shipment. The customer is glad that, we are not only blindly pursuing speed, we pay more attention to quality.
